I was never able to get the install process to find them on a FAT partition, so I had to create a Linux partition and move them there. After that, the install process moved along just fine (till the very end). Me either, I tried VFAT and FAT16, neither worked so I ended up getting the CD.. it doesn't seem right.

Make a AUX-Root Partition and a AUX SWAP-Partition. The Debian-woody installer will recognise them and ask you the formatting stuff automaticly. Do not install an Desktop Environnement, all of them (except ROX) are too resource hungry for that oldie. Give FVWM2 a try, it rocks. mfg Falk Husemann.
